In a recent attack on the vessel Reyhan Sarı, one of our maritime brothers lost his life and three others were wounded. In the Ukraine-Russia war zone, workers are explicitly being sent to their deaths purely for capitalist profit! While civilian ships are targeted, bosses expand their fortunes, the government stands by watching, and yellow unions bury their heads in the sand.
The lives of seafarers are not mere numbers on corporate balance sheets! If we do not take a stand, the relentless greed of holding companies will keep claiming the lives of our brothers and sisters.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
We are not condemned to work on death routes, live under precarious conditions, or be left to the mercy of bosses! We call on the entire public to raise their voices against this atrocity and urge all maritime, port, and shipyard workers to stand united.
